In this section of our website, you will find pricing for frame refinishing, patio sling replacement and installation as well as vinyl strap installation.

Chair Care Patio Furniture Repair has been in the business of repairing and refinishing better quality outdoor furniture since 1988. Our in house patio furniture repair and refinishing services include sand blasting and powder coating of wrought iron and aluminum patio furniture, replacement of vinyl strapping on pool chairs and chaises, custom made replacement slings, vinyl strap replacement or relacing of Brown Jordan Tamiami and Lido furniture. Our Dallas, Texas showroom and warehouse a complete sewing room for custom made outdoor patio furniture cushions.

The following pricing will give you a general idea of what it will cost to refinish or repair your pool and patio furniture. PICK UP AND DELIVERY FOR OUR DALLAS FORT WORTH CUSTOMERS




Pick-up and delivery of your better quality outdoor patio furniture is available if you live in the Dallas, Fort Worth Metroplex area. Charges are $60 each way or a total of $120 round trip. Pickup and delivery is available only for those customers with 5 or more pieces. You can call us during regular business hours to schedule a pickup. If you have a truck or large vehicle, you are welcome to bring your outdoor patio furniture to us any time during normal business hours. No appointment required. Chair Care Patio Furniture Repair will be glad to delivery your newly repaired and refinished furniture back to you for a one way delivery charge of $60. Our driver will carefully quilt and protect your patio chairs and chaises so they arrive in perfect condition.

PATIO CHAIR & CHAISE REPLACEMENT SLINGS AND INSTALLATION

Chair Care Patio can custom sew and install replacement slings for virtually any manufacturer. If you patio sling chairs or chaises that are ripped and faded, let Chair Care Patio give your sling furniture a fresh new look. With a few simple measurements from your patio chair or chaise, we can custom make a sling that fits. Choose from over 100 top quality fabrics. You can see our fabric selection at the following link. You are also welcome to stop by our showroom and see our replacement sling fabric in person. If you choose the pickup and delivery option, our driver will have the replacement slings fabrics available.



Because you are in the Dallas Fort Worth area, Chair Care Patio Furniture repair can also install your new replacement slings. You are welcome to view our fabric selection in advance.

VINYL STRAP REPLACEMENT

Give your vinyl strap furniture a fresh new look. Replace those stained and faded straps with high quality vinyl straps. With over 50 vibrant colors to choose from, vinyl strap replacement is an economical way to give your strap chairs and chaises a quick upgrade.



Chair Care Patio can replace the vinyl strap for $3-$4 per strap, which includes materials and labor. If you are the handy type and like a DIY project, you are welcome to come by our shop, purchase the vinyl, and install at home. You can also order replacement strapping from this website and have it shipped directly to your door. We have easy to follow instructions available on this website as well.



Our vinyl strap replacement policy during peak season (March – July) is to replace all straps on a chair or chaise not just the broken one. We will not replace a few broken straps at a time. If you only need to replace a few straps, please purchase the DIY supplies from our website.

ALUMINUM FRAME FURNITURE

The pricing below is for sandblasting and powder coating of heavy duty, wide frame aluminum outdoor furniture such as Brown Jordan Quantum, Tropitone or furniture similar in construction. Patio Furniture frame-refinishing costs will depend on the size of the frame and if it currently has a powder coated finish.



The older the furniture, the easier it will be to remove the old finish as the finish has had time to degrade over the years making it quicker to sandblast. Newer furniture, where the powder coated finish is still in good shape may be more difficult to sand blast and therefore cost a bit more. Sometimes we cannot determine an exact price until we get started on the job. Once we see the patio furniture, we can generally give you a closer price estimate. The pricing below does not include new slings or installation. Vinyl strap replacement is also an additional charge.

WROUGHT IRON MESH FRAME PATIO FURNITURE

If you have classic wrought iron, mesh style patio furniture, Chair Care Patio Furniture Repair can sand blast the frame and give your wrought iron style patio furniture a fresh new look. Wrought iron patio furniture typically has an expanded diamond mesh pattern on the chair seats and on the tabletop, and because wrought iron furniture is usually made of steel; you might see signs of rust.



If you have better quality wrought iron furniture such as Woodard, OW Lee, or Meadowcraft, or Brown Jordan the cost to refinish the frame will be less than buying new. Our refinishing process for wrought iron mesh style furniture includes sandblasting of the metal frame to remove the existing layers of paint and rust. We sandblast every square inch to remove all the dirt and rust and to expose the clean bare metal surface of the wrought iron. We then apply a powder-coated primer coat and then your color or topcoat of powder coating. The furniture is then rolled into a large curing oven and the powder coated finish is baked on at 400 degrees. Please be aware that the sandblasting and powder coating process will NEVER eliminate rust from wrought iron patio furniture. Rust or corrosion will eventually occur again. The pricing below will give you a general idea of the cost to refinish your better quality wrought iron mesh patio furniture. Pricing includes new glides on all pieces if the glide is something that is readily available and new vinyl tires on chaise lounges. Pricing does not include replacement strapping or slings. WROUGHT IRON FRAME FURNITURE WITH VINYL STRAPPING OR REMOVABLE CUSHIONS

Some of the older patio furniture from the 60’s and 70’s was made from steel or wrought iron frames with vinyl strapping to sit on. Other styles had removable cushions that were mounted to a plywood base. Chair Care Patio can make this classic style of outdoor patio furniture look like new. The frame refinishing process is detailed in the previous section. The pricing below does not include vinyl strap replacement and installation. ALUMINUM FRAME WITH VINYL STRAPPING

Older style patio furniture from the 1970’s and 1980’s featured lightweight aluminum frames with vinyl strapping. This style of furniture was very well made and can be repaired and refinished to like new condition. The pricing below includes sandblasting and powder coating of the metal frame. Pricing depends on the size of the frame and if it currently has a powder coated finish. Once we see your aluminum frame patio furniture we can give you a more detailed quotation. Vinyl strap replacement is an additional charge at $3-$4 per strap. Count the number of straps on your frame to determine vinyl strap replacement cost.

NOTE: As a rule, aluminum frame patio furniture is more expensive to sandblast and powder coat then steel. Sometimes the existing paint or powder coated finish is very difficult to sandblast and becomes very time consuming.

HOMECREST FURNITURE WITH SLINGS OR CUSHIONS

Homecrest outdoor patio furniture is made from both aluminum and steel tubing styles. The cost to sandblast & powder coat can be slightly different depending on if it was made from steel or aluminum. Aluminum frames a generally a bit more expensive as removal of the existing finish can be more time consuming.

ROUND TUBULAR FRAME WITH NARROW VINYL LACING

Brown Jordan Tamiami and Lido style patio furniture was very popular in the 1970’s and 80’s. This very high quality brand of patio furniture is identified by its use of a narrow vinyl lacing, about 5/8” wide that is woven into one continuous pattern or weave. Over the last 20 years, Chair Care Patio has refinished and relaced 1000’s of Brown Jordan Tamiami and Lido pieces. This furniture was very well made in its day is well worth the cost of refinishing and relacing. Brown Jordan Tamiami outdoor patio furniture features a diagonal pattern while the Brown Jordan Lido style furniture uses a square pattern.



The pricing below shows both the cost to sandblast & powder coat the frame as well as the cost to replace the lacing on the frame only. Complete restoration of Brown Jordan Tamiami and Lido includes replacement of the plastic glides.

OTHER STYLES OF FURNITURE – ANTIQUE SHEET METAL CHAIRS AND GLIDERS

Chair Care Patio and Custom Powder Coating is not limited to repairing and refinishing traditional patio furniture, we can make Grandma’s antique glider and old fashioned sheet metal chairs look like new as well. The pricing below will give you a general idea of what it costs to refinish old-fashioned sheet metal furniture. Refinishing of old furniture can take about 4-6 weeks, as every project is different. We try to disassemble the furniture as best we can before we sandblast and powder coat. Many times, we run into rusted bolts that are impossible to remove without damaging the piece. Rust and corrosion is also an issue with antique furniture.



We like to be upfront and honest with our customers that we will NEVER eliminate the rust from old sheet metal chairs and gliders. They way they are constructed makes it impossible to get 100% powder coating coverage. However, the result will still be amazing and the old rusty chair from Grandma’s front porch will look 200% better when we are done. After sandblasting and powder coating, we will reassemble you “treasure” with stainless steel hardware. The pricing below will give you an idea of the refinishing and repair costs. Once we see your project and determine how much work is involved, we can give you a more accurate quote.
