How Homecrest Style Replacement Slings, Standard Slings, Padded Slings and Cushions are Constructed
Homecrest Style Replacement slings, padded slings made by Chair Care Patio have a unique construction. This style of sling is made by marrying two layers of fabric together with a binding or welting that goes around the outer edge. The welting or binding holds the fabric layers together and provides a nice finished look to the sling. A Homecrest style sling is similar to a pillowcase. The metal frame rails of the chair or chaise lounge fit inside the sling body and are held secure and tight at the back of the chair or chaise lounge by a curved spreader bar. When ordering new replacement slings or cushions for your older Homecrest Patio Furniture, you will be asked to make 2 color choices.

These slings are made with a main fabric choice for the front of the sling and a solid mesh back fabric and welting. A layer of outdoor poly fill is sewn in between to create the padded effect. The solid back and the welting will be the same color and fabric. You will choose: |

Homecrest style replacement cushions are made with the main fabric choice for the front and a coordinating solid mesh back color. The solid mesh back makes the cushion stronger and sturdier on the chair frame. Many of the Homecrest style cushions use a pocket on the back and bottom to hold the cushion to the frame. A solid mesh fabric on the back makes the pocket more durable. Some cushion styles also use a welting around the edge for a finished look. The welting will be the same color as your solid back color selection. You will choose: |
