Install New Chair Webbing
Measure Hole To Hole Distance
Starting with the horizontal straps, measure hole to hole distance on the chair frame. Wrap tape measure around frame like original webbing was installed.
Cut New Webbing
Add 4 INCHES to the hole to hole measurement. Cut new chair webbing to desired length.
Insert Clip
Push clip through bottom of webbing about 2 inches from the end. Make sure tail of clip faces UP. Clip must face in the correct direction for proper installation.
Insert Clip
Fold excess webbing under and insert the clip into the hole of the frame.
Pull Webbing & Mark
Pull webbing across to the opposite side and mark the webbing at the opposite hole in the chair frame.
Insert Clip
Insert clip through webbing at marked hole. Make sure the tail of the clip faces UP.
Insert Clip Into Hole
Fold the webbing and insert the clip into the hole in the chair frame. Repeat steps for remaining horizontal webbing.
In Vertical Strap Installation Be Sure & Fold Chair
When installing vertical straps, fold chair during installation. This will insure the webbing is taught when chair is in open position.
If your chair frame is equipped with screws to attach the webbing, use the following method.Take the hole to hole measurement, add 4 inches. Fold the webbing over itself twice as pictured below and insert a screw through the end of the webbing and into the hole in the frame.
