All replacement slings produced at Chair Care Patio are made to customer specifications. This video will present the view with basic knowledge on how to accurately measure a sling chair and a chaise lounge frame.
Chair care patio requires all customers seeking replacement slings to provide the length and width of their chair frames.
To arrive at the length of a chair frame, carefully measure the entire length of the sling rail from top to bottom using a cloth measuring tape. Be sure that the measuring tape rests along the bend of the chair rail and does not move out of position while measuring.
When measuring for width, a measurement must be taken from center rail to center rail of the chair frame. Imagine a center line that runs the length of the slot in chair rail. This will be considered the center point of the rail. Measure from one center point to the opposite.
When measuring for width, always take two measurements. The first measurement should be taken about five inches down from the top of the chair rail and the second measurement should be taken a few inches up from the end of the chair rail, near the seat.

The same concepts apply when measuring a two piece chaise lounge the only difference is that there are two pieces; a back and a bottom.
First measure the length of the chaise back followed by two measurements for width. Again, measure about 5” down from the top and few inches up from the bottom when measuring for width.
Next measure the bottom portion of the chaise for length and width using the same techniques.
